At the beginning, living a wholesome life wasn’t a choice, it was something my mental health demanded of me. And it changed everything.
Hi, I’m Josephine.
I was raised by the outdoors.
Muddy knees, pink sunsets, galloping horseback across sweeping downs, the smell of bonfire in my hair. 🍁🏇🌅
Then somehow, life became all about notifications ping! the infinite scroll, and constant anxiety.
That's where I was when my mental health crashed and forced me to slow down.
I knew I needed to make a change to heal myself.
I set about replacing doom scrolling and relentless productivity with long rambling walks, cosy evenings by the fire, and learning to forage and identify birds by their song.
Nature became my sanctuary and the rhythm of the seasons gave me something steady to hold onto when everything else felt fragile.
Slowly, a gentler way of living took shape.
I call this living a wholesome life, and this is where I share mine as it unfolds.
Think of this as part handwritten nature diary, part heirloom recipe and craft book.

Living in tune with the seasons is one of the most quietly radical things we can do in the modern world.
When we slow down enough to notice the first frost, cook with foraged ingredients, decorate our homes with seasonal finds and cold plunge into running rivers, we find our way back to what it means to be human.

My Values
Nature
We were made for the outdoors, not the inbox. When we slow down enough to notice nature’s gentle shifts, we find our way back to what it means to be human.
Mindfulness
In a world obsessed with productivity and the relentless pursuit of 'success', choosing a gentler pace is a quietly radical act and the most powerful thing you can do for your mind.
Seasonal Living
Each season brings its own invitation to forage, make, notice, rest and play. When we let nature set the pace, we stop rushing through life and start actually living it.
Creativity
There’s a cook, make and gather in tune with what each season offers. It's in the making that we find the stillness we've been looking for.
